Holidays are for celebration, spending time with family, and... FOOD. If you had an Easter like I did, you pigged out and ate way too much candy (and are now REALLY regretting it). All I can think of now is "oh great, slip up on my eating habits right as summer is approaching." However, I'm doing my best to not completely beat myself up over it. I mean, it was one weekend, and I don't eat like that on a daily basis.
So, I decided to take this time to clean up my diet and get back on track. This isn't your traditional "detox." There's no starving yourself. No only drinking juice. Just simply eating clean and working out. Plus I'm in LOVE with the Belly-Slimming Detox water from blogilates. I'm going to include the recipe here soon. :)
Here are some natural ways to detox.

Here are some natural ways to detox.
Cut out the junk.
This is a no brainer. The first step to any detox is to cut out the "junk" from your diet. I recommend eliminating processed foods, refined carbs and sugars. You'll have more energy throughout the day and you'll feel better overall. The first few days will be awful and you might have some major cravings but stay strong and fight through it. Your body will thank you :)
P.S. This list is so gross. Save yourself the money and calories..

Clean, fresh and whole foods
Now that you've ditched the junk from your diet, replenish your body with clean, fresh and whole foods. Replace that fast food burger with a turkey burger without the bun or swap out those chicken tenders for a fresh chicken salad. Every little change counts. Overall, your body will function better when eating fresh foods. The more natural the food, the easier it is for your body to digest.

Get Active and Move
To help get your body back on track, get up and move. Physical activity has a ton of benefits like increasing blood flow, gives you energy and helps you focus. Working out is like putting your entire body, physically and mentally, on a detox. Aim for 30 minutes 3 or more times per week.

HYDRATE
The key to any detox is hydrating your body. During this time, your body is going to go through some major changes so you want to make sure you're hydrated. It will help the process move along smoothly and you'll feel great overall. I really recommend detox waters like Cassey Ho's Belly-Slimming Detox water. The fresh fruits and other ingredients help to kick start your detox.
CASSEY HO'S BELLY-SLIMMING DETOX WATER
1-2 Liters water
1 cucumber
1 lemon
1 orange
